The role of industrial switches can be said to be very powerful, and its applications are very wide. It has its presence in electric power, rail transit, municipal administration, coal mine safety, factory automation, water treatment systems, urban security, etc., for the development of modern life intelligence provided a great help. However, due to the usage environment, it is often necessary to use various methods when installing industrial switches, including rack-mounting, laying on the desktop, wall-mounted and DIN rail installation. 1. How to install the rack:
The industrial switch box can be fixed on the rack through the bracket. Generally, two L-shaped chassis mounting ears have been installed before leaving the factory.
2. Desktop installation method:
The industrial switch can be placed directly on a smooth, flat and safe desktop. It is necessary to ensure that the working environment has enough space to ensure the ventilation and heat dissipation space of the equipment. But you need to pay attention to the following two points:
1) At least ensure that there is a space distance of 3cm-5cm around the switch, and no heavy objects can be placed on the switch;
2) Ensure that the physical surface of the switch can bear more than 3kg of weight.
3. Wall-mounted installation
The installation of switches is very common in industrial field applications. The installation instructions are as follows:
1) First, remove all 4 screws at screw 1 and screw 3 with a screwdriver. The screw at screw 2 depends on whether the installation space on site is enough to decide whether to remove it together (it is recommended to keep it when there is enough space);
2) Then rotate the removed wall-mounted ears 180°, align with the screw holes, and then fix them for a second time. Since the screws are loosened or the sliding wires may cause fatal damage to the device, please check whether the screws are fixed in place;
3) Then fix it in the wall hanging holes reserved on the wall hanging ears.
4. DIN rail installation
General industrial switches are installed on standard DIN rails, which are very convenient in most industrial applications. The installation steps are as follows:
1) First check whether there are DIN-Rail rail installation tool accessories to ensure that everything is normal;
2) Then adjust the product to the correct installation direction, that is to say, the power terminal is upwards is correct;
3) Then put the upper part of the product guide rail card (the part with the circlip) into the guide rail first, and then put the lower half into the guide rail with a little force;
4) After inserting the DIN rail card into the card rail, check to make sure that the product is balanced and securely fixed on the DIN rail.
