The difference between onu and fiber optic transceivers
ONU adopts wavelength division multiplexing technology to load the light of different wavelengths into one fiber.
Optical transceivers also use this technology to save fiber resources;
Secondly, the two devices correspond to different network technologies. The optical fiber transceiver is point-to-point, which simply performs photoelectric conversion between the two transceivers, while onu is a pon (passive optical network) device that hangs multiple onu under one olt. Downlink data is sent in broadcast form, and uplink data is sent in tdma mode, which can be understood as point-to-multipoint.
