Mini Fiber Media Converter Telecom/Datacom Systems is mainly composed of central computer system, data terminal equipment (DTE), and data circuit.
1. The central computer system is composed of a communication controller (or pre-processor), a host computer and its peripheral equipment. It has the function of processing the data information input by the data terminal equipment and outputting the processing results to the corresponding data terminal equipment.
2. The data terminal equipment is composed of data input equipment (data source for generating data), data output equipment (data sink for receiving data) and transmission controller.
3. The data circuit consists of a transmission channel (transmission line) and data circuit termination equipment (DCE) at both ends. The transmission channel can be a dedicated channel or a switched channel, and it can also be an analog channel or a digital channel.
