Wind power generation project in Nova Scotia, Canada
It is my pleasure to share a successful cooperation case with you. This is about a wind power generation project that our company cooperates with a Canadian client. This project requires an managed industrial-grade fiber ethernet switch, with 4*10G SFP+ Slot+24GE RJ45, must with UL certification and require AC+DC dual power supply.
Initially, customers found that the cost of JHA-MIWS4G024H UL certification was very high, and no supplier in the industry was willing to do this certification for them. So, the customer contacted our company. We learned about the customer's needs in detail, and found that the Canadian government requires switches with AC plugs to be UL certified. The cost of UL certificate might need $50,000 and Subsequent annual costs of about $5,000~$10,000 .However, after in-depth communication with the customer, we found that the customer's project can accept remove the AC power terminal, and use an external DC-to-AC power supply with UL certification can totally solve their problems.
After two rounds of sample testing, we successfully provided customers with JHA-MIWS4G024H, which is an industrial-grade management fiber switch, with 4*10G SFP+ Slot+24GE RJ45 Layer3 managed switch. This switch helps customers save hundreds of thousands of costs and simplifies order requirements. In the end, we successfully helped the client win the project, and the first batch of 300 devices entered the site smoothly.
